CORPUS CHRISTI
La fiesta del Corpus Christi se celebra en todo el
país desde la Colonia pero es en la ciudad
del Cusco que alcanza su mayor intensidad. Quince
santos y vírgenes de los distintos distritos
llegan en procesión a la Catedral para "saludar" al
cuerpo de Cristo, es decir, a la hostia consagrada,
que se guarda en la fabulosa custodia de oro macizo
de 26 kilos y 1,20 metros de alto.

The standard program includes
four hours of either private or group instruction per day.
The teachers co-ordinate the program to ensure that the
grammar themes are further developed in the conversation classes.
